SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed with regards to the high quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider position developed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service here point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to enable the servicing of all clients and boost access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
